Martí Domínguez, biologist, writer and journalist. Ph.D. in Biology, and Journalism professor at the University of València, he has combined investigation and teaching with journalism and literature.
Domínguez writes in the maganize El Temps with weekly articles about science and literature, and in the newspapers El País and La Vanguardia. Some of his articles have been compiled in Peiximinuti (1993) and Bestiari (2000).
As a novelist, he wrote a trilogy about the French Enlightenment with the titles Les confidències del Comte de Buffon (1997), which was awarded the "Crexells", the "Andròmina" and the "Crítica de la Universitat de València"; El secret de Goethe (1999), which received the "Prudenci Bertana" and the "Crítica de la Universitat de València"; and El retorn de Voltaire (2007), which received the "Josep Pla". In 2007 he received the "Premi Nacional de Cultura de Periodisme de la Generalitat de Catalunya" for his role as a chief editor of the scientific magazine Mètode.
He is a member of the Associació d'Escriptors en Llengua Catalana.
