Marisol González i Felip (Valencia, 1962), a poet, teacher, school inspector, and former academician of the Valencia Academy of Language, lives in Nules (la Plana Baixa). In 1985, she graduated from the University of Valencia with a degree on Philology.

Although she has published books for children, she mainly writes poetry, some of which has appeared in various volumes of contemporary poetry and in literary magazines. She has been awarded several prizes for her poems throughout the Catalan-speaking domains. Moreover, she has published numerous studies on language and its teaching, as well as working with publishing houses in preparing textbooks for non-university education.

She organises teacher training workshops in the area of emotional skills and is working on a method for improving teacher wellbeing. In addition, she gives recitals in libraries, cultural associations, and adult training centres, teaches courses on writing and poetic practice, promotes activities to encourage reading in educational centres, and is an adjunct lecturer in the UNED Seniors courses in Vila-real.

She is a member of the Associació d’Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (Association of Catalan Language Writers – AELC).
