Lluís Hansen Fors (Barcelona, 1961), a playwright, translator, and teacher, has degrees in Economics and Politics from the University of Barcelona, and he also graduated in Stage Direction and Dramaturgy from the Barcelona Theatre Institute. In 1981, he won the Josep Ametller Prize for Theatre for his first play Christophe. Since then, he has written several works that have been performed on stage and has also worked as a theatre director. He combines writing and literary translation with teaching at the Barcelona Theatre Institute, the Barcelona College of Theatre, and Sala Beckett - Obrador Internacional de Dramatúrgia.
He is a member of the Associació d’Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (AELC – Association of Catalan Language Writers).
