Victòria Cardona i Romeu (Barcelona 1936).

A teacher and writer, mother and grandmother, she has specialised in family themes. She regularly publishes articles in educational journals and other publications concerned with the value of learning, as well as on different websites. She gives lectures on education in schools, associations and libraries and has been an active participant in numerous seminars in Catalonia and other countries as an expert on adolescence, responsibility, authority, freedom, reconciling work and family, academic failure and conflict in communication, among other themes. She is a moderator in the "Temps de família" (Family Time) programme of the Generalitat (Government) of Catalonia and has also been a municipal councillor in the Department of Education and Public Health of the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona.

She has published the essays Ensenyar a viure (Teaching How to Live, third edition Pòrtic, 2006; laButxaca 2010; Pòrtic, 2010 – e-book), Som avis (We're Grandparents, Mina, 2008; Mina, 2010 –e-book; laButxaca, 2011), Conciliar la vida familiar (Reconciling Family Life, Styria, 2008, in Spanish), Qui mana aquí? (Who's Boss Here? second edition, Pòrtic, 2010), Un estrany a casa (A Stranger in the House, Pòrtic, 2011 – published in Spanish as Un extraño en casa, Viceversa, 2011) and Quién educa a mi hijo? (Who educates my children?, 2012)

Her blog, La convivència, un trencaclosques (Living Together, a Puzzle) has been awarded the "Bloc Catalunya Stic.cat" Prize in the Professional Education category.

She is a member of Associació d'Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (AELC – Association of Catalan Language Writers).
