Mar Font Cortadelles (Vilassar de Mar, 1975) has a degree in Music Education from the University of Barcelona and a Professional Degree (piano) from the Liceu Conservatory. She has also completed several courses (Narrative, Novel I and II, Character Creation, Theory and Practice of the Children’s Story I and II, and Game of Mirrors) at the Barcelona Athenaeum School of Writing.

In 2019 she published the novel for children, Tu voldries ser el meu avi? (Animallibres), with illustrations by Mercè López, and, in 2022, Vols un caramel? De llimona o de mel? (Animallibres), with illustrations by Mercè Canals. Font is also the author of El viatge dels tions (Baula, 2023), and the children's novels El dia que la Lia va tornar a la platja (Animallibres, 2024) and Llobarro per berenar (Animallibres, 2026).

She is a member of the Associació d’Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (AELC – Association of Catalan Language Writers).
