Joana Maria Pastor Perelló (Palma, 1979) has published five fantasy novels of the saga El món màgic de Lot, the first of which, Leilani i el nigromant (Edicions Balèria), appeared in 2021; the second, Els dos capitans, in 2022; the third, La reina Leilani, in 2023; the fourth, Viatgers del Temps, in 2025, and the last one, Ales de fang, in 2026. Her work recounts the journey of her heroine while at the same time describing the descent into hell of each person and, in essence, describes the quest for balance between light and the shadow that lies in wait for us.

She is presently combining her work as an archivist with her job as a writer.

She is a member of the Associació d’Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (AELC – Associa-tion of Catalan Language Writers).
