Emília Illamola Ganduxé (Argentona, 1953) writes for and works with radio programmes, participates in literary activities, and worked in bookshops from 1974 until 2011. 

She has published a work of poetic prose, Fraccions (Viena Edicions, 2012), the novels Joc de llunes (Nova Casa Editorial, 2014), Una certa onada (Quorum Llibres, 2015), Más allá del cielo azul (Nova Casa Editorial, 2016), Cabrils, Sao Paulo, Barcelona. Un amor pendent (Voliana Edicions, 2017), La lectora accidental (Quaderns de la Font del Cargol/Cossetània, 2021), and the short story collection Encara hi ha papallones al jardí (Quorum Llibres, 2017).

She took part in the art project Carpeta “M”: Teseu i el Minotaure, with Joan Poch and Joan Carles Gonzàlez Pujalte (La Comarcal, 2013). With Isidre Julià and Josep Lladó, she was co-editor of the poetry collection Els poetes del Maresme (Voliana, 2019) and, with Queralt Morros, of Dones poetes de la Maresma (Voliana, 2021).

She is a member of the Associació d’Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (AELC – Association of Catalan Language Writers).
