Pep Molist (Manlleu, 1965) is a writer, librarian, and literary critic.
He is a librarian who has always worked in children’s sections of public libraries, and presently at the Biblioteca del Casino in Manresa.
His work and great passion for reading have led him to explore several areas of the books-children relationship, including reading children’s and young people’s literature, recommending it, as a critic (in the El País supplement Quadern), writing for the magazine Faristol, (which he edited together with Joan Portell for more than ten years), with the blog Llibres al replà, and writing it as well.
He has published more than a hundred books, which have received several prestigious awards, among them the Rovelló, Serra d’Or Critics, and Sant Joan de Déu Hospital prizes for children’s literature.
He is a member of the Associació d’Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (Association of Catalan language Writers – AELC).
