Aureli Trujillo Cabezas

English

Aureli Trujillo Cabezas (Los Blázquez, Cordoba, 1955) has a degree in Psychology from the University of Barcelona. His professional life has mainly been in a financial entity and, when he took early retirement in December 2013, he decided to return to what he has always liked doing: writing.

He had written before, but it was not until April 2016 and the publication of his first collection of poems (Dies de suau oreig) coinciding with the festival of Sant Jordi (St. George’s Day and World Book Day) that his literary work came to be known. Two years later, again coinciding with the Sant Jordi festival, his second collection of poems, Entre marges, was published.

He is a member of the Associació d’Escriptors de Llengua Catalana (AELC – Association of Catalan Language Writers) and of the Readers’ Centre of Reus, where he works in one of its sections.
